Jared Leidich

Columbine Hills Concrete, Project Manager for the Granby Airport, Summer 2008

Mr. Leidich spent the summer of 2008 working as the project manager for the rebuild of Granby Airport in Grand County Colorado. Mr. Leidich worked on the bidding process in the spring and was present for the win of the ~2 million dollar contract. The project was scheduled to be completed in a summer to accomodate mr. Leidich's return to university in August. Mr. Leidich managed the construction process of half of the new runway (it was constructed in halves to avoid contruction during the very cold winter) and many other additions including a new airport lighting and control system. He was responsible for scheduling, purchasing, subcontractor relations and general management of as many as 30 people working together. The airport has since been completed and is servicing local small airplane traffic.
